Photo: Frank Martinsen As opposed to what the bands name might suggest, Ritas Lolitas does not play samba or any other kind of exotic music. Instead they play a very energic down to earth kind of rock'n rhythm & blues. It's easy to assosiate their playing to bands like the Fabulous Thunderbirds. Apart from doing songs by the T-birds their songlist include a lot of their own originals, and they also do stuff by blueslegends like Sonny Boy Williamson, Muddy Waters, Willie Dixon and rockers like Chuck Berry and the Pretty Things.
